Puppy Patience with Mom Tessa and Aunt Jenna
Patience loves working and learning. When we are training, I am
amazed at her ability to focus! She is going to a puppy play group
every other week and has lots of fun playing with the puppies and
socializing with the other puppy owners. Last week our trainer set
up a tunnel with treats inside. Patience was the first puppy to go in
the tunnel (of course the treats were a great motivation), once she
went in, all of the puppies were going through and having a great
time exploring. We have signed her up for an advanced puppy class
starting June 22nd. She also goes tracking every Monday and has a
great time and a natural ability!
Today was Patience's second tracking lesson. Here are a couple of
photos of her tracking. As soon as Patience figured out that there
is a treat when she finds an article she decided that tracking was a
fun game. Everyone was very impressed with her today, she sniffed
the first article and took off along her track, nose to the ground
working the track.
Patience was entered in the Lackawanna Kennel Club tracking test today and she passed her TD test! I am so proud of her, she passed on her first try, only one other dog passed today! Patience worked beautifully, both judges complimented me on my nice working field spaniel!
